Santa Monica College has a Linux workstation administration class
starting in the Spring (semester starts February 13). I've taken this
teacher is he is very good. If you've wanted to learn more about Linux
but didn't know how to go about it ... a short 16 week commitment would
make you a master :) The prerequisite is some experience in C, but if
you're C-less, don't sweat it, I have an intro to C book that a quick
read will give you everything you need to know.
Standard admission policy and fees would apply. Application for SMC
admission can be found here
http://www.smc.edu/admissions/application.htm
Total cost with health fees and per unit fees would be appx. $85.
