While SCALE technically doesn't start until Saturday morning, the 
OpenDocument Format Workshop is Friday afternoon at the LAX Radisson.  
If you or your organization is contemplating moving to a standardized 
open document format for your documents, this is the place to be.  The 
workshop is free, but you must register to attend.  Register via email 
to odf at socallinuxexpo.org.
