Senior LAMP Developer, Los Angeles, CA | 70-100k 
My client is the leading provider of search-based leads for schools and
colleges around the world.  They represent over 1,000 physical campuses,
and nearly 100 Distance Education schools on a cost-per-lead basis.
Each day over 100,000 Education Seekers visit sites represented
exclusively by my client. 
The Senior LAMP Developer will be responsible for the architectural
underpinnings of several PHP systems. As the Senior LAMP Developer you
will be responsible for the architectural underpinnings of several OOP
PHP proprietary systems. There are two things that must distinguish this
candidate from other LAMP developers.  The candidate is more than a PHP
hacker. S/he is a system architect who sees reusability and abstraction
as the goal. The candidate believes in formal development process and
has experience enforcing this process with other developers. 
Of course, as the Senior LAMP Developer you will also be responsible for
plenty of hands on development work. This includes web application
development using OOP based theories and database design for new
features or new projects. Redesign of existing database schemas. 
Required/Desired Technologies: 
* PHP (4 and 5) 
* HTML, JavaScript, AJAX 
* OO design 
* Database design with ERD tools 
* PHP as a SOAP client 
Desired Experience: 
* 2-5 years experience with database-driven, PHP web application
development 
* At least one year in a lead role
