This prompts me to post to this list what I posted last night
to UUASC at UUASC.ORG, one of the members wanted the links to
see the recording of this event, which I saw live:

a few months ago can be viewed online at:
1) go to http://www.la36.org, search for 'aloud' and search for 'craig'
   in the result menu to get to this URL:

2) if you run into plugin problems for something called
   avisynth.dll (+ javascript apparently = cutesy user interface)
   with Firefox whatever, you can bypass this
   layer of obfuscation, as I did looking at the HTML
   source with Lynx, and locate a URL
   similar to this one, which runs fine with mplayer
   (and with SVGAlib even without a GUI):

    I'm not sure why Craig's dynamic stage presence required a video,
    instead of an MP3/podcast other than that's what this la36.org
    provides, maybe Wired magazine, the talks sponser felt
    anything less than a video wouldn't be prestigious enough for them.
