As mentioned at the UUASC-OC meeting this week, the Super User Group
meeting at USENIX '05 is tentatively scheduled for Wed., April 13, from
8:30-10:30 pm, at the Marriott Anaheim:

Please mark your calendars accordingly, and all of us are encouraged to
attend as this will be a rare opportunity and treat for all user group
members in the area -- regardless of software affiliation -- to
congregate under one roof. And, what a zoo it promises to be: from
penguins, to pythons, to beasties, to blowfish. It will host supporters
of both vi and emacs, csh and ksh, x86 and SPARC, perl and awk, Solaris
supporters and those who haven't experienced Solaris yet. Truly it will
be an event where the elite meet to geek.
And, while you are on that URL, do notice that prior to the meeting, the
UnixRabbi (America's Favorite Rabbi Comic) is tentatively slated to lead
a BoF in that same room, only with a slightly different topic in mind.
His warm-up BoF should be a lot of fun, and everyone is invited to
attend that as well. And, the best news is that both events are free
admission to all, do not require USENIX membership, and there is no
drink minimum or age limit enforced.
Also, a reminder that the deadline is approaching for early registration
discounts for the daytime technical conference which will be held Apr.
13-15.
