Vision Solutions, Inc. operating in the HA space has the following
positions open in the Emerging Products Area. Vision's business has
traditionally been on the OS/400 platform and is expanding into the
Linux and UNIX space.

Technical Product Manager (Unix and Linux)
Vision Solutions is currently looking for a Technical Product Manager
(TPM) for its UNIX and Linux High Availability solutions. The TPM will
gather market data to assist in defining new UNIX (AIX and Linux)
offerings. The position involves close interaction with development
leads, product architects, and key customers and partners. Job duties
include gathering technical product requirements from prospects,
evaluators and customers, writing Product Requirements Documents (PRD),
and monitoring the implementation of a product/project. Minimum
requirements include; strong technical background with 4 year college
degree, 5+ years field experience with UNIX - AIX preferred, and
excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Java Software Developer
The Java Software Engineer must have strong Java (UNIX, Linux, or AIX
systems preferred) programming skills. Individual must enjoy working in
a team environment and making a difference. Individual will be
responsible for design, development, and maintenance of programs of high
availability products.
Requires a BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
Individual must have a minimum of 4+ years of technical experience in
system design and software development. Knowledge of OO analysis and
design principles and patterns are essential. Individual must also
possess strong analytical and communication skills.
