Special Note of LULA (Linux Users Los Angeles) Meeting
Tuesday, March 15, 2005
Chelsea Shure will be speaking on the recent motion by three LA
councilmembers save scarce city money by switching to OpenOffice.org as
the office productivity suite. The money saved will instead be diverted
into a fund for LAPD expansion. 
Chelsea will be focusing on the ways in which the Los Angeles FOSS
community can be most effective when communicating with political
critters. Chelsea dropped by the LinuxChix SCALE booth and she is a
passionate and informed individual on the topic.  
This should be a very interesting talk. I hope you can make it.
