Wow ... lots of books :)
I think the best distribution of these books would be:
1. Booth Copies to be kept at the SCALE booth for general information.
    a) Knoppix Hacks
    b) Linux Cookbook (written by Carla Schroder, a frequent contributor
to the main LinuxChix organization, who writes extensively on Linux and
Linux administration)
    c) Linux for Non-Geeks (includes cd of Fedora Core)
2) Available for a raffle.
    a) Knoppix Hacks (2 available)
    b) Linux Cookbook (2 available)
    c) Linux for Non-Geeks (2 available)
    d) Linux Pocket Guide
    e) Linux Server Hacks
    f) How Linux Works
    g) Wicked Cool Shell Scripts
    h) SeLinux (NSA's Security Enhanced Linux)
    i) High Performance Linux Clusters
3) Available to a booth volunteer freebie as a thank you for helping out
would be any of the books in the raffle catagory -- with the exception
of Knoppix Hacks. As our booth is focusing on LiveCD's I'd like to have
Knoppix Hacks available as a raffle item for both Saturday & Sunday.
Also available as a volunteer freebie is a LinuxChixLA tee-shirt. We had
the tee-shirts for sale at last year's SCALE, and as we haven't
re-ordered for this year the size range is a bit limited so let me know
your tee-shirt size when you volunteer. The tee-shirts are dark grey
with a white or read tux on the upper left pocket area with
'linuxchixla.org' written underneath. Both babydolls and mens tee-shirts
are available.
So ... If you are available to help out at this year's SCALE, contact me
with the best day (Saturday or Sunday), what times you are available,
and what book you like so I can remove it from the raffle offerings, and
tee-shirt size.
/Sharon
P.S.
I've also found a pretty good primer on knowing Knoppix. Available as a
pdf or OpenOffice.org format. A very nice introduction. A few booth
copies will be available, but it's a nice read beforehand if you're new
to the LiveCD craze :)
