Subject: [Scale-announce] Getting to SCALE
IMPORTANT#1:  Due to the Grammys being the same weekend as SCALE (the
nerve of them...), some streets around the Los Angeles Convention Center
will be closed.  Here are some instructions for hassle-free navigation
to SCALE 3X:
Exhibitors
----------
Proceed to the corner of Cherry and Pico streets.  Drive up the ramp,
where a security officer will give you a security pass to unload your
vehicle.  Proceed to the south side of West Hall, through the sliding
gate to unload into Concourse Hall.
If there is an event in progress and the south plaza is unavailable,
enter at Pico to the Concourse freight elevators making sure not to
block the entrance to the Aramark Sports and Entertainment Services
area.  There are two available for your use.  Take the elevator to the
plaza level to unload.
LACC Arrivals

Southboard 110 San Pedro -- Before 2:00pm
Non Grammy vehicles exiting at Olympic Blvd are to turn left or South at
the end of the off-ramp and proceed to 11th Street.  Turn right or West
to Albany and left or South on Albany to Venice.  Turn left or East on
Venice Blvd and enter the Convention Center at Convention Center Dr.
Alternative 110 Exit -- After 2:00pm
Continue South on the 110 to the Adams Exit.
        1.  At the end of the exit , turn left or east on 23rd St and
travel to Figueroa St.  Turn left or North  on Figueroa to Venice Blvd.
Turn left or West on Venice Blvd to Convention Center Drive, the first
traffic signal.

        2.  At the end of the exit, turn right or West on 23rd St and
travel to Union St.  Turn right or North on Union and travel to Venice
Blvd, the second traffic light.  Turn right or East on Venice Blvd and
travel to Convention Center Dr.
Northbound 110 Pasadena
The Pico Off-ramp will be open but all traffic will be directed West on
Pico.  Convention Center traffic can turn left or south on Albany St,
left or east on Venice Blvd to Convention Center Dr.
Alternate Northbound 110 Exit
Continue North on the 110 to the 9th St. exit, continue straight at the
end of exit until Grand Ave.  Turn right or south on Grand Ave.  and
travel to Venice Blvd.  Turn right or west on Venice Blvd to Convention
Center Dr.
Westbound 10 Santa Monica
Westbound traffic can exit at Pico Blvd-Downtown exit.  At Pico all
traffic must turn left or West on Pico Blvd and can turn left or South
on Albany St to Venice Blvd.  Turn left or east on Venice Blvd to
Convention Center Dr.
Eastbound 10 San Bernardino
Eastbound 10 San Bernardino traffic should exit at Grand just past the
110 Freeway.  At the bottom of the off-ramp, turn right or south to
Washington Blvd.  Turn right or west on Washington Blvd to Figueroa St.
Turn right or North on Figueroa St and left on Venice Blvd to Convention
Center Dr.
Note after 2:00pm, traffic is advised to continue west on Washington
Blvd, to Union Ave.  Turn right or north on Union to Venice Blvd.  turn
right or east on Venice to Convention Center Dr.
