The next meeting of LinuxChix LA will be held on August 28, 2005. This 
meeting will continue the Linux Administration Study Group using third 
tutorial (101 part 3 rel. 2) in the ibm.developerworks Linux 
Professional Institute (LPI) level 1 certification skills.
We are moving on to the third third of four tutorials designed to 
prepare you for the Linux Professional Institute's 101 (release 2) 
exam. This tutorial (Part 3) is ideal for those who want to improve 
their knowledge of fundamental Linux administration skills. We'll 
cover a variety of topics, including system and Internet 
documentation, the Linux permissions model, user account management, 
and login environment tuning.
We're up to Section 4 and 5 in the tutorial which goes over new users, 
passwords, tuning the user environment with bash_login and 
bash_profile.
