Just went to the SCALE site http://www.socallinuxexpo.com/ and it looks
like they have managed to line up John "Maddog" Hall of Linux
International to be one of the keynote speakers. Looks like SCALE has
grown up :) I'm very excited about this as it was a Hall book "RedHat
for Dummies" that got me started with Linux. (And I still have the book.
It contained the single (!) install cd of RH 6.1. :)
If SCALE follows the practice of years past, then LinuxChixLA will have
an opportunity to staff a booth. So, mark you calendars for Feb 12 & 13
... and start contemplating on a possible booth topic and/or focus that
we as a group would be able to present. The first year it was
OpenOffice.org, last year it was Jabber, and this next SCALE ... TBD.
