Hey All! 
This is a reminder for the LinuxChix-LA meeting tomorrow,
Sunday, May 23 starting at 2:00pm at CyberJava in Hollywood.
I have a live CD of the Novell updated SuSE 9.1, Knoppix 3.3 (3.4 is
available, but I won't be able to burn a disk by Sunday), and Morpix
(Knoppix but without heavy KDE desktop component for machines light on
ram). If you've never see a LiveCD these are fantastically cool
distributions which could be used in a variety of useful ways. 
I'd also like to talk about starting up an LPI study group. I'd like to
use the IBM developerworks LPI 101 and 102 exam tutorials ... I think it
would make for some nice lesson plans. The link below is to the
tutorials -- registration is required, but it that bothers you email me
off list and I'll send you the pdfs. We could either handle the lessons
via the mailing list or via IRC or a Jabber chat room, or ?????. If
you're interested we can talk about it at Sunday's meeting, or you could
let me know via the list or private email.
