Heya Garrick!
There hasn't been any further discussion about this on the LinuxChixLA
list so I think I can safely summarize.
I'd be willing to share the booth with SolidOffice and focus on
OpenOffice.org as a member of LinuxChixLA. I can also update the MS
Word/Excel to OOo Writer/Calc command equivalents handout which
incorporate OOo ver.1.1 changes, but I don't have any time to create any
additional materials. (I think you have a copy which we distributed at
SCALE-1. If not let me know and I can send you another copy in the OOo
Writer format.) I can also provide the laptop and an external monitor
which can provide a hands on demonstration of OOo running under Linux.
The big issue here is that LinuxChixLA does not have the financial
resources to share costs for either the booth, or the electricity, or an
internet connection, or any misc. etcs. We are still in the red for
costs associated with SCALE-2 and cannot commit to providing any
additional funds for this conference.
Given the above restrictions, I can share an exhibitor booth with
SolidOffice at the National Hispanic Women's Conference on April 2nd.
Let me know if this is acceptable.
Regards,
/Sharon
