I agree with vi. I've only used RedHat for about a year or so.

I'm going to try Gentoo on my little ancient Toshiba Satellite 325CDS
laptop. A friend of mine who is a Debian fan swears by Gentoo now. I've
heard other raves as far as optimization for hardware, which would be
ideal considering how old my ancient laptop is.
