Hey! RedHat since 6.1 and (to start the editor holy war) vi. :)
Tho I'm desperately looking for a replacement for RedHat, and Fedora,
with its planned 2-3 releases a year, does not appeal. I've heard
*wonderful* things about apt-get ... so I'm going to the source and
trying Debian.
I'm not tough enough for Slackware :) but ... I am trying to experiment
with a offshoot of Slackware called DeLi Linux, or Desktop Light Linux
http://delilinux.berlios.de/ a desktop distribution optimized for older
hardware. The test equipment for releases is a 486! As soon as I
download the ISO I'm going to be installing on an old Pentium. Tips will
be welcome.
