For the second year in a row, the Southern California Wireless Users Group
will provide free 802.11b wireless Internet access for the Southern
California Linux Expo. The event take place on Saturday, November 22nd. at
the Los Angeles Convention Center.
Wireless Access Points will be placed in multiple locations throughout the
event held at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Any attendee with a
802.11b wireless card will be able to access the Internet throughout the
event at no charge.
The Southern California Wireless Users Group (SOCALWUG) provides this in
an effort to promote and educate users in the use of wireless
technologies. Each month SOCALWUG hosts meetings with presentations on
many aspects of wireless.
